Twilight at ArneAlong the western edge of Poole Harbour lie tracts of lowland heath, salt-marsh and forest that are internationally important for their migratory populations of wading birds and wildfowl, protected and managed as a nature reserve by the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds. With the ending of daylight saving time in the final week of October the time of sunset moves forward to late afternoon. This gallery captures some of the changing tones of light that can be experienced in the October / November twilight between 16:30 and 17:30 on this quiet almost deserted peninsula. | |||||||||||
